As soon as we left, we didn't have any plan, except that we had with us, in our van, everything we needed to go play outside: paragliding, surfing, kites, mountain bikes! When we arrived at Mont-St-Pierre, a renowned place for paragliding and hang-gliding, the forecast was good to go for a little " sled " with our tandem paraglider!

To get there, we had to do a nice hike on the delta trail or SIA which lasts no more than an hour before arriving on the most beautiful summit in Quebec in my opinion! Once at the top, it took us an hour to do the "parawaiting" to fly to the 7th sky in a loving mood! My first time to fly there and surely not the last! The view was breathtaking! The sea, the beach, the fields and the high peaks of the Chics-Chocs as far as the eye can see. Many schools offer tandem flights upon reservation if you feel like trying this adventure!

After our flight we had another plan before the end of the day. We took the road to the end of the world in Gaspé at the Parc national de Forillon, direction Anse aux Amérindiens to park our vehicle, take our bikes out, bring our lunch and aperitif and leave to conquer Cap Gaspé, unknown place for me! Arrived by bike, about 4 km, quite easy access on the gravel, the trail is shared with hikers and bikes. It took us 20 minutes max to get there just in time to see the beautiful sunlight that had made for a gorgeous hot summer day! A sunset drink to finish before heading back to our campsite in Petit Gaspé. We had planned an evening to watch the perseids at the seaside, but we finally had a storm, which we could admire from our van!

A freshly baked croissant and a hot coffee woke us, as well as our swim in the sea at Cap Bon ami, a great way to start our day. We were ready to start the hike to Mont St-Alban and admire the view from the observation tower. An incredible view of the headlands of Parc Forillon, a masterful place in Quebec!

It was so hot that we had to go back for a swim and snorkel to see the huge lobsters, crabs, starfish and seals that were hanging around!

We still had some energy left to go discover the Bout du Monde bike trails from Mont Berchervaise to Gaspé, which are really well designed! We were able to admire the sunset at the top of the mountain before continuing the incredibly fun and long "enweillenbas" descent! Wow! What a great job! We headed to Cap d'Espoir to cook our fresh halibut and cod dinner and sleep to the sound of the waves.

The next day, we had a perfect breeze to go kitesurfing towards Carleton, a nice light wind in the Barachois with no more than two feet of extremely warm water to kite in a bathing suit! A first in Quebec for me! We finished our tour of the Gaspé Peninsula at Mont-St-Joseph to observe the stars during the night with 33 shooting stars in thirty minutes admired at a height of 555 meters! Wow!

The next day our plan was to go paragliding, but the wind was not good for us, so change of plan, we tried the enduro bike trails of the Mont-St-Joseph regional park in Carleton-sur-Mer which surround the mountain with 20 km of trails.

Our trip ended with a bit of driving, a swim in a beautiful fresh salmon river and a kitesurfing session in Ste-Luce-sur-Mer! What a great week with the sea!

Thanks to our partner Chlorophylle for having dressed us comfortably to move in nature, no matter what the weather!
